Which Links Are Affiliate Links

How Affiliate Commissions Work

When you click our affiliate link and subscribe to a service:

1. The destination platform tracks the referral via a cookie or attribution method
2. If you eventually subscribe or purchase, the platform attributes the sale to us
3. We receive a commission per the platform's affiliate program terms
4. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not

Commission models vary by service:

• Revenue share: percentage of what you spend, sometimes for the lifetime of your account
• Cost-per-action (CPA): one-time payment for qualified signups
• Hybrid: combination of the above

How This Affects Our Reviews

We have a strict editorial policy:

• We pay for our own subscriptions to every service we review
• We test each service for at least 90 days before publishing a review
• We rank services based on our actual experience, not commission rates
• Services with higher commissions do not get higher rankings
• Services we cannot recommend are clearly identified, even if they pay well

Our credibility is our most valuable asset. Compromising it for a commission would be poor long-term strategy, and we treat this site as a long-term business.
